Following are description of some current individual positions.

Requirements: Individual must have BS Degree and five years management experience in a USDA regulated food plant. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Must be able to work irregular hours as necessary to properly manage the organization.
Responsibilities: Individual will
• Coordinate and direct departmental managers in production, sanitation, quality assurance, scheduling and maintenance, with the goal of meeting cost, quality, food safety, safety and service level standards.
• Indirectly oversee accounting and purchasing functions of the operation.
• Directs activities of subordinate managers to insure product is produced to meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Meet budgeted spending goals. Meet or exceed direct product cost standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to perform necessary repairs and projects.
• Develops programs to improve the operation of the facility. Ensure the facility is operated in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and conforms to OSHA, ADEQ, and other regulatory standards.
• Direct continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop subordinates to achieve company goals.
• Act as company representative to outside agencies such as USDA, local government, and vendors.

Requirements: BS Food or Dairy Science plus two years cheese production/packaging experience required. Must have demonstrated ability in a one or more of the following areas: Cheese making, starter technology, DMC, cooker/stretcher - cutters operations, and brine system, including brine UF. Must be able to work all shifts.
Responsibilities: Individual will work with Production and Packaging Supervisors and Plant Managers learning all aspects of running a cheese making operation starting from delivery of fluid milk through packaging of final product.

Must be able to work all shifts.
Responsibilities: Individual has supervisory responsibilities for an entire shift. Will guide and instruct several others in start-up, shutdown, and CIP.

Requirements: BS in Food or Dairy Science plus four years supervisory experience. Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and membrane technology is required. Must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge in operating systems Word, Excel, and Maximo, and basic knowledge in Algebra and Geometry. HTST and sampling licenses preferred. Must be able to work all shifts.
Responsibilities: Provides leadership and direction for all aspects of production and related departments consistent with company objectives. Activities will focus on maximization of product quality, production yield, control of expenses, and effective use of staffing in a climate that promotes a safe and positive environment for all employees assigned to the facility.

Requirements: BS in Food or Diary Science plus eight years supervisory experience (or a combination of supervisory and operator experience.) Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills
and ability to work well with others. Knowledge in operating systems Word, Excel, and Maximo preferred. Must be able to work all shifts.
Responsibilities: Ensure the Fluids Plant is operating properly and oversee control of all incoming and outgoing product. Ensure plant equipment is running at full efficiency. Balance inventories of sweet cream, micro filtration, and raw whey product daily. Work closely with supervisors and employees to ensure a safe, good working environment. Provide vacation relief for supervisors and managers as needed (approximately 28 weeks a years.)

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food or Dairy Science plus eight years food manufacturing experience. Attention to detail and accuracy in work required. Must have strong written and verbal communication abilities, strong technical knowledge in Evaporation & Drying, ability to create and understand financial documents (P&L), knowledge of computer software. Must be able to work first or second shift.
Responsibilities: Assist the Whey Plant Manager with the financial results of the facility and provide leadership and direction for all aspects of production and related departments consistent with company objectives. Activities will focus on maximization of product quality, production yield, control of expenses, as defined in the budget and effective use of staffing in a climate that promotes a safe and positive environment for all employees assigned to the facility. Assist Plant Manager for all major improvement projects, in conjunction with corporate Engineering and suppliers.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Manufacturing plus 5-7 years experience in food operations. Dairy experience preferred.
Responsibilities: Individual will be directly responsible for the technical and financial result of the packaging and production facility. Activities will focus on improvement of capacity, efficiency, control of labor, as defined in the budget and effective use of staffing in a climate that promotes a safe and positive environment for all employees assigned to the facility. Specific duties include:
• directs all plant departments ensuring that production practices are established and maintained which will ensure that product quality conforms with company and regulatory standards.
• Continually reinforces the highest level of quality of products.
• Ensures that all support services are rendered in a timely, reliable, and consistent fashion in non-production (Quality Control, Warehouse, Laboratory, etc) departments.
• Directly responsible for ensuring that recoveries and product yields are maximized.
• Pays close attention to the performance of the packaging and production department centers and takes corrective action as required.
• Continually seeks ways to improve both the financial and technical performance of the packaging and production departments.
• Works close with the Plant Manager focusing on productivity and plant staffing at levels which are appropriate to production levels.
• Insists that safe work practices are followed on a continual basis including personal active involvement in the plant safety effort.
• Continually analyzes and evaluates the performance of all employees supervised. (Recommends and ensures that continuous education and training occurs in both technical and managerial areas.
• Directs sanitation functions ensuring that the environment and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Works closely with engineering and technical services on coordinating projects and activities for the facility.
• Initiates probationary and annual evaluations report forms for completion by department managers.
• Responsible and accountable for capital budget.
• Aware of and practices Plant’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as Good Sanitation Practices (GSP). Recommends and/or suggests any changes/additions to GMP’s and GSP’s.
